2024 AAGE Report: AI in Early Careers

Over a two-week period in August 2024, the AAGE undertook a short pulse check survey exploring member sentiment on artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI (GenAI), its application in recruitment and development, and its impact on the early careers landscape.

150 representatives across 132 member organisations shared their experience.

These responses provide valuable insights into the current state of AI usage from both employer and university perspectives. It also identifies the ethical and practical challenges members face when utilising AI within their organisations.
