This Guest Presentation and Member Discussion Series will see a range of presentations on engaging and challenging topics in early careers talent acquisition and development.

The presentations will be different in each state, however the format for the event will be similar. A networking lunch will enable you to catch up with industry peers, followed by a presentation that will conclude with an interactive discussion amongst attendees on the topics presented.

This is an exciting opportunity to meet your peers from the graduate resourcing and development industry and learn more about topics such as:

  • High school and early pipeline talent engagement
  • Equity and inclusion in early careers recruitment and programs
  • Hiring for the future including discussions on AI
  • The future workplace and graduate program design.

Join us to hear from a student and graduate panel about the recruitment issues that matter to them.

Hosted by DeakinTALENT, this event will be facilitated by David Eckstein, Lecturer in Equity Programs at Deakin University whose national research investigates the way equity students think about their careers.

Event Highlights:

  • Students and graduates with lived equity experience discuss their aspirations how they feel about transitioning to the world of work and what makes them feel valued
  • Take part in Q&A to delve into issues that deepen your inclusive strategies for campus visits, recruitment and onboarding, and
  • Network with AAGE colleagues and panel members over lunch.

Cost

Complimentary entry for AAGE members.

Non-members and member colleagues may attend for $50 + GST.

Cancellations

In order for us to cater appropriately, please let us know if you need to cancel your attendance. Also, catering cannot be guaranteed if registration is made four days or less prior to the event.

In order to cancel an invoice raised OR receive a refund for event attendance, the AAGE requires a MINIMUM of 24 hours' notice to receive notice of your intention to cancel. All cancellation requests need to be received in writing via events@aage.com.au.
