About AAGE Conferences The AAGE hosts an annual Conference, bringing together employers from around the nation to learn, develop and network together in an energetic and stimulating environment. AAGE Conferences allow delegates to focus on broader issues impacting on the industry, to have the opportunity to learn from industry experts, discover the latest trends and to discuss solutions and methods in which to handle industry challenges. The Conference format encourages the open sharing of knowledge and experience, which serves to elevate the graduate recruitment industry as an increasingly important, strategic part of a business. The annual black tie Gala Dinner incorporates the annual AAGE Graduate Recruitment Industry Awards (AGRIAs) presentation, aimed to reward and recognise excellence in the graduate recruitment industry. Who Attends? Traditionally AAGE Conferences attract graduate employers, graduate development managers, recruitment professionals and service providers whose businesses are connected to the graduate recruitment industry. AAGE Conferences are also generally well supported by the university sector including members of the National Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services (NAGCAS) and the Australian Collaborative Education Network (ACEN). We also usually have a number of international delegates including members of the International Network of Graduate Recruitment and Development Associations (INGRADA). Over 160 organisations sent 319 delegates to the 2009 AAGE Conference (a list may be downloaded here). Feedback year on year is glowing: “Best conference ever.” “Overall the conference was very well organised, communication about what was happening was good and the venue was great. I appreciated the communication emails and updates, it kept me really excited about the conference.” “The conference was great and I look forward to attending next year.” “As you can see I felt the whole conference was marvellous.” “I learnt a lot from the conference, Thank you for the great 3 days!” “Conference is always wonderful and well put together.” “Not that last year wasn't good, but this year was really outstanding.” “Great mix of sessions. I gained lots of great ideas and information about best practice in the graduate recruitment and development area. It was very well run and a broad range of options and presentations. The presenters were very professional and conveyed their information in an interesting and passionate manner. Well done to all.” “Great facilitators and presenters.
